ElLi's name stands for Eleanor and Lisa Black who started ElLi's Microgreens at the Rensselaer Farmers market in 2021. Lisa is a retired chemist with decades of experience. Eleanor is a freelance tech with a green thumb.

Eleanor saw microgreens as an opportunity to bring something new to the farmer's market. Lisa was moved by her love of nutritious eating and a desire to contribute more to community in retirement.

Together they're dedicated to producing a good quality product for our customers each week! It's a learning process and we welcome feedback!
